Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the Predictive Planning Institute website, courses, certification, and tools. Read them before you use the service.
Effective June 18, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Predictive Planning Institute, Inc.(“Institute,” “we,” “us”), a company based in Denver, Colorado. They cover predictiveplanning.com, its subdomains, the Certified Predictionist program, the member application and the Terminal, our newsletter, and any related content or services (together, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at hello@predictiveplanning.com if you suspect unauthorized use. You may not share, sell, or transfer your account or course access to anyone else.
2. The certification program
The Certified Predictionist credential is awarded based on completion of the required coursework, diagnostics, the Predictive Plan Portfolio, and the final exam, subject to the eligibility rules published in the program. We may update the curriculum, assessment standards, and credential requirements over time. Completing coursework does not guarantee a passing result, and a credential reflects completion of our program — not professional licensure, accreditation, or any guarantee of business, financial, or career outcomes.
Quizzes and exams include anti-cheating measures. Submitting work that is not your own, circumventing assessment controls, or sharing exam content may result in a voided result and termination of access without refund.
3. The Terminal, signals, and scenarios
The Terminal, signal library, Signal Builder, and Scenario Builder are provided as educational and planning tools. Signal data is drawn from third-party sources (including public economic data and prediction markets) and is provided “as is” without warranty of accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Scenarios, probabilities, and AI-generated outputs are decision-support aids, not forecasts of fact.
Nothing in the Service is financial, investment, legal, tax, or professional advice. You are solely responsible for decisions you make using the Service. Do not rely on it as the sole basis for any consequential decision.
4. AI-assisted features
Parts of the Service use third-party AI models to generate text, scenarios, and assistance. AI outputs can be inaccurate, incomplete, or biased. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated output before relying on it. Inputs you provide to AI features are processed by our AI providers as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- copy, scrape, resell, or redistribute Service content, signal data, or course materials except as expressly permitted;
- reverse engineer, probe, or interfere with the Service, its security, or its infrastructure;
- use the Service to violate any law or the rights of others, or to upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content;
- use automated means to access the Service except as we expressly allow; or
- misrepresent your certification status or affiliation with the Institute.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including its text, design, course materials, software, and the named frameworks and diagnostics — including Woodring’s Loop, the Cycle Audit, the AI/Human Split, the Stake Sizing Matrix, the Convergence Review, the Maturity Read, the 18-Month Sunset, and the Software/Discipline Gap Audit — are the intellectual property of the Institute or its licensors and are protected by law. The frameworks may be applied inside your own organization without a license; the published materials, branding, and software may not be reproduced or redistributed without permission.
7. Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit, such as scenarios, plans, forum posts, and messages. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, process, and display that content as needed to operate the Service. You are responsible for the content you submit and represent that you have the right to submit it. We may remove content that violates these Terms.
8. Purchases, pricing, and refunds
Prices for the book, certification, and other paid offerings are shown at the point of purchase and may change. Unless a specific offer states otherwise, course and certification purchases are non-refundable once you have accessed a meaningful portion of the materials. Where a refund window or guarantee is offered, its stated terms control. Taxes may apply. The book is sold and fulfilled through Amazon under Amazon’s own terms.
9. Third-party services and links
The Service relies on and links to third parties (including Amazon, payment processors, and data providers). We are not responsible for third-party services or content, and your use of them is governed by their terms.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Institute and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or business, arising out of or related to the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold the Institute harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your breach of these Terms.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification — will survive.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts located in Denver, Colorado will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, and you consent to that jurisdiction and venue.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
